"in da club" by 50 cent has already offered our language so much. i've thought of two scenarios in which it could come in handy for journalists:
1) when the movie "get shorty" gets a fabulous 25th anniversary re-release, the headlines could read "get shorty, it's ya birthday"
2) if the pop star sade (pronounced sha-day) returns to her former popularity and has a gala birthday event, the headlines could read, "go sade, it's ya birthday"
