good evening ladies and gentlemen
warning - boring entry lacking in cleverness or even attempted cleverness. just one of those tedious self-indulgent 'hear about my life!' posts that all the kids who are cooler than me make fun of online diary people for doing. well, so it goes.

this was one of the finest days in recent memory - while nothing grandly amazing happened that people will be talking about for generations, it never sucked, the weather was good, and it was just jam packed with really positive interactions. a few examples:
played the odds on running into teresita by the art school, and by a remarkable set of coincidences, got lucky and enjoyed lunch with her. yay!!! serendipity is grand. also, early word is that she liked my tape.
visited my angel at work, always a complete and utter joy, forever.
dinner with the biz, delicious food and our usual witty, loving banter. oh she's a dear, i will miss her so when the time comes.
chat with shayna, at party, concerning culinary school and other things - a rare party conversation in that it actually lasted as long as it needed to without anybody wandering off.
learned a lot about the nuwaubians from....some guy who apparently is the world's leading expert on that topic.
told a girl i've long found to be great company as well as uniquely attractive that i would like to go on dates with her; she expressed a mutual interest in this concept although she removed from the table any possibility of dating or making out - but that's all right, because i really just want to pick her brain for a while. anyway i was proud of myself for my honesty and pseudo-directness.
saw jiji at the library, she looked worn out for sure but we made possible plans to see dirty pretty things on sunday, depending when band recording action wraps up. that would be really awesome, i've honestly barely seen her since...like....finals of last semester. damn. also i really wanna see that movie.
