ahhhh. rain massages the night-world into the dream-world. i admit i do have some sense of regret in that there is some infinitely small chance that if i had stayed at that party or said the right things, i would now be huddled in some basement, hiding from rain and playing spin the bottle with all the incredibly gorgeous people who were there. but, on the other hand, many of them were leaving even before i was - and i had many broad laughs with natalie, and wait, the whole evening was a complete success as it is! so, everything is fine.
important fact: by staying here in town i vastly improve the odds that i will *eventually* get to kiss the regularly-beheld beauties and conversational wizards. hmm.
