who would have guessed that my dad would know what a Korg DW-8000 was? or that he would stumble on a working one for $10 at a garage sale? complete with original box? and foot switch? and stand? and data tape? this is going to be just what i need! fat 80s analog sounds, here i come!

the only downside is that having two keyboards on stands near my computer means i am no doubt going to be one of those dudes with 'gear.' as it is i have many other music making devices, but most of them are in the closet. we're entering a new era of geekiness here, but perhaps that will spur me on to the core.
oh heck, you guys get another demo too. this is a new version of 'bicycle' from last week. it's still 'demo' because the vocal is a one-take none-serious recording when i had a cold, and there are many subtleties still to fix. oh, and the drums are completely and utterly temporary, pay them no attention at all.
