there goes my guy; here comes my man
I don't know if it's the tiramisu, the first couple chapters of "Half-Blood Prince," or just the joy of feeling alive and well after weeks of illness, but I sat down and blasted out, all in one evening, my several-days imagined cover of "There Goes My Gun" by the Pixies. In the process I noticed that the verse has the exact same chord progression and pace as "Jump" by Kriss Kross, various Casinovian attempts at which you have probably already heard and loved. You will be glad to know I did not attempt to combine the two songs, but that's not to say it won't happen eventually. In the meantime, feast your ears on one of my most badonkulous covers ever:

Trace Adkins, it seems, has a song called "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk." At Waffle House, you can not only learn about this, you can even play the song in the jukebox, and try to win a chance to go see him play or something. I didn't do any of this.
Q-Zar sounds really fucking cool.
Also, I need to scope out the mall's pinball selection.
Well, the HBP won't let me be, or Harry P be read by me. They try to study me like Hogwarts Academy, but it feels so empty without Hermione.
