well, there's always the little niggling bits of parties that don't go perfectly (people being somewhat neglected, nobody eating one of the prepared items), but i would say this evening went pretty well. best party i've ever thrown certainly. my hazelnut crescents were surprisingly well-liked, and an incredibly sustained marathon of mario brothers AND duck hunt was initiated and carried out by the party as a whole. a certain girl kissed me, and it was the opposite of anything i'd ever imagined our kissing being, and it was exactly what it should be, to the point where i'm now incredibly glad we never kissed before, because it wouldn't have been as good as this.
i was going to write some stuff about eddy grant's "killer on the rampage," but let's just say that it's a fucking great album and that i am looking forward to lunch tomorrow. not looking forward as much to cleaning the kitchen, but that comes with the party territory, ne? i wish i worked at 5 though.
