hurricane.
this new orleans shit is too huge and apocalyptic to even remotely take in, and yet i've been glued to the tv every moment at work that it was on and i wasn't busy. and still it didn't seem quite real, just jaw-droppingly huge, fascinating in destruction like the atomic bomb, until i ran into someone who has family who are now dead. god in heaven.
