girl i love you so bad
i found this big shitty plasticy metal shelving unit by the dumpster and it is now perching delicately atop the aaron bookcase. it doesn't really have the look of permanence about it; already, a dubious book about the constitution and "house of leaves" are necessary to keep the bottom shelf from completely buckling under the weight of the records. but, now i have a home for the 12"s and some other random shit. it's fun to be able to display the front of one record at a time as a sort of decoration, at whichever point the gap in the records is located... i need to find lightweight things to keep on the top shelves though, because there's no way to brace those up and reduce the buckling... oh well, it only needs to last a few months.
i have three more days in which to get everything done for grad school applications. go go go!
