they try to catch me stealin' cherry
as happens sometimes, the building has been taken over without warning by some whitebread student group holding a 'dance' in the main space. even setting aside the fact that there are people working in this building all weekend, this is a bad idea even by the requirements of the people holding the events - the main space is a cavernous three-story section of concrete, so the acoustics are godawful and the floor makes your feet hurt just walking across it. it's also a really wide-open plan with a lot of overlooking catwalks - you have to have no self-consciousness at all to walk out onto that empty floor and dance for more than thirty seconds.
on the other hand, there are piles of twelve-packs of cherry coke waiting to be lifted. i haven't (yet) because it's hard to catch a good moment to grab one, and also i suspect these may be the property of caterers, completely unrelated to my larger project of opportunistic revenge.
