biking through certain parts of queens produces a slow and hard-to-define nostalgia for a world that i only ever brushed peripherally against as a kid in atlanta: main street in the 1980s, the trees green, the buildings all dating from around 1940 to around 1975, activity, old fonts, old signs. i could go for a zesto.
