hard not to speculate on this blog's cryptographic heyday: suppose i had simply told all of the crushes everything, and laid out all the ultimate questions and dreams? many painful turn-downs, no doubt, but word gets 'round in that town and perhaps the good news would have reached a like-minded imagination. oh, for all the just desserts we might have served each other.
here in the present: without question, things are about as good as they could be under the circumstances. there are pretty views, gradually crafted, restorative interiors, and our partnership survives the flood. and for the first time in a long time, there is time.
