all the smoke made me sneeze
threw up this morning after a rough ride. a whole new impetus to get in shape! but i think it might have been also the effects of taking my allergy pill too soon before heading out, and breathing in a lot of sinister pollen very rapidly. also, i had to start and stop a lot due to jerk pedestrians that seemed to believe that a rapidly approaching bicycle did not constitute a reason to not cross the street at a green light (which promptly turns red as soon as they're out of harm's way). augh. at least there are bike lanes down like ten feet of jackson street.
but i'm getting there.
i realize the pace of posting here has gone down slightly. this is partly due to irritation and disillusionment at diaryland re: the artist formerly known as black arrow affair, however, it is also just because the summer is going along in such a lovely fashion. i have been genuinely productive on several fronts (webpage, h.j. live ii, doctor casino recordings), and though i am going to miss all of my personal deadlines for these things, it is a great feeling to actually use a vacation for the things i meant to use it for, rather than a complete waste of time like they have normally been.
yo, julie: want to play drums for doctor casino on saturday? they are all pretty simple parts, and i'm sure there is someone with a drum kit we can make use of. it would add a lot to have at least something be played live (in addition to simple keyboard on crush song) so i'm not just singing on top of a boom box.
anybody in the clique that wants to do other things, i guess mainly keyboard (or guitar or bass if you want to figure out the parts), let me know soon, i realize this is all very short notice which is why i am less vigorous on this one.
